Haji Dukuray was elected to Vice President of Delaware Africa Caribbean Coalition in January 2021. Prior to his election, he served as the Political Committee Chairman of DACC. He also serves as a board member for Sumpu Do Khatty, an organization representing people of Soninke decent.
In 1988, Haji migrated to the US from The Gambia, and has been a resident of New Castle County since 2006. He is married with four wonderful children.
Haji strongly believes that his purpose in life is to serve and give back in his own way, to the human community. He firmly believes that we all have something to give back; it can be as little as a kind word or smile to a fellow human, regardless of origin.
